A lenda do blues rock texano, ZZ Top, está de volta com força total em 2025! A banda inicia sua extensa Elevation Tour em 1º de junho, em Victoria, no Canadá, com previsão de encerramento em 10 de outubro, em Terre Haute, Indiana, totalizando 51 shows pela América do Norte. A turnê celebra o retorno de uma das bandas mais icônicas da história do rock, depois de uma impressionante temporada com 99 shows em 2024 — o maior número entre bandas clássicas no ano passado.
🔥 Um trio que segue elétrico
Mesmo com mudanças importantes na formação, o espírito do ZZ Top permanece intacto. Em março, o baterista original Frank Beard anunciou que faria uma pausa para cuidar de questões de saúde. No entanto, a banda segue firme com Billy Gibbons na guitarra e vocais, Elwood Francis no baixo (que assumiu o posto após a morte de Dusty Hill em 2021), e John Douglas, técnico de longa data da banda, assumindo a bateria. “É um verdadeiro texano e está segurando as baquetas com alma e respeito”, afirmou Gibbons.
